After doing my best to avoid this movie, because it looked like a typical hollywood remake, crap mobile. I finally saw Charlie's Angels. I wouldn't give it any awards. Matter of fact the only person I thought did a great acting job was Crispin Glover. He plays a great vilian. But as far as everyone else, the acting seemed very forced and campy.
It is a pretty entertaining movie from a hollywood standpoint, but not your typical Crispin Glover movie. To be honest, I'm surprised he did this one. I guess he's gotta have a hit every now and then to pay for all of his stuff.
Twister is a movie that came out in 1990. Starring Harry Dean Stanton, Crispin Glover, Dylan McDermott and a few other people. It's about an oddball family on a Kansas farm are trapped in their farmhouse by an impending storm.
It's an odd film, and the charachters are really hard to relate to and understand. There wasn't much of a plot and nothing really happens. They just sit around and do weird things to annoy each other. I was actually very dissapointed. I've heard great things about Twister, but I didn't see anything great about it.
Except, of course, Crispin Glover. He plays a charachter called Howdy. A freaky weird actor type. His hair looks really cool. Plus they show him playing guitar and singing. Which is always cool. If Crispin wasn't in this movie, I would've hated it. He was the only saving grace for me.
Don't be confused, this is not Twister that came out in 1996, starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. Which I think is really lame, naming a movie the same as one that came out 6 years earlier. Isn't that illegal?
Anyway, I'd stay away from this one, unless you're a die hard Crispin Glover fan.

One of the movies that really launched Crispin Glover's career was Back to the Future. Co starring Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson and Christopher Lloyd.
They ended up doing a trilogy, and actually I thought all three were very entertaining. Even my 11 year old loves the movies. They are timeless...no pun intended.
Crispin Glover plays father Marty McFly. He's perfect for this role. Quirky and goofy. He's a genius.

Drop Dead Sexy is a movie that was released in 2006. It stars Crispin Glover and Jason Lee. I'm not really a fan of Jason Lee, he's very one dimensional for me. But Crispin Glover, on the other hand, carries the movie. He's great.
The plot is about these two guys, who get involved in murder, heist, blackmail, caper. Pretty good story, nice ending and best yet...Crispin Glover.
Check out Drop Dead Sexy if you haven't.
